Mike On Song Writing  "August 3 2005"

".... i like to write... the only way i ever really delt with a problem was writing a song about it. It helps me analize the situation when i write about something. All of my lyrics are very personal. Inspriration ususally hits stogest while i'm "wasting away" in school, thats the only thing i think i like about school gives me time to think. Most of the time i write in "waves" that kind of annoys me sometimes like i'll keep writting about the same topic until something elses comes along and bothers me or grabs my attention. I have written over 200 songs in over 4 years most of them are either lost, unfinished, crappy, on the back burnner, and being played and recorded. also i have this new thing, i like the write my words on the underside of my bunkbed i don't know why i have just been doing that. Right now i'm in a very "straight foward" harder sounding tone like less soloing and more "hitting the chords as hard as i can mood" we're going into a studio this month to record our new indipendently funded EP "Under The Bridge" and hopfuly getiing singed with it. Then i would LOVE to start writting for an album. I have manny riffs waiting for words and i can already tell you that if we do write for an album it will have a fuller and harder more punk sound than "The Sazemscatch"  well i guss nobody will know "until then" hope i see you at the shows."
